Overview
According to the report of the World Health Organization, approximately, 5 and 10 million people are affected with Hepatitis B and C respectively in Pakistan. Thousands of new patients are added yearly due to a lack of prevention, testing, and treatment resources. VFAHT has aimed to reduce the disease burden by not only promoting disease awareness and prevention but also screening the masses. Screening is an important tool for early detection and treatment, reducing morbidity and mortality related to liver disease and preventing disease. It is equally important to ensure strict compliance with Hepatitis treatment in order to eliminate this evil from our society.
